The challenge

As a result of the large number of competitors and fake Rubik’s Cubes in the public domain, alongside Rubik’s Brand own inconsistent messaging and style, the Original Rubik’s Cube getting lost in the crowd.

Our solution

In conjunction with creating updated and consistent brand guidelines, the new Rubik’s Brand style was born, using dynamic edges and bringing back the core Rubik’s colours we created three poster ideas which would use all the hallmarks of the new Rubik’s Brand style. Both the poster campaigns and the updated brand style have been developed alongside online research and focus groups into who Rubik’s core market is and the messages that resonates with this audience the most.
