Christmas at Chobham Adventure Farm

The challenge

Chobham Adventure Farm was putting on a magical Christmas experience and asked Summer Day Media to help to spread the festive message far and wide.

Our solution

We created a magical Christmas scene to lead the campaign and give a consistent magical look across all the online festive messaging and event collateral. We then shot multiple social adverts to create a real buzz around the event which reached over 100k people locally linking them to the campaign webpage to purchase tickets. This was all backed up by a powerful Influencer marketing campaign, PR and email marketing.

Social Media Videos

The social media videos generated a huge response with each video generating up to 28k reach and 2k link clicks. The comments in each post were overwhelmingly positive.

On Launch Day we had:

  • A peak of 1099 impressions on stories
  • 716 profile interactions
  • 260% increase in website clicks

Christmas Experience Poster & Leaflet

Feeling the Magic

Customers were greeted with wooden tickets by the Elves to enter the attraction. Inside, the children had to complete a series of magical activities that graduated them to become official Elf helpers. Earning them a certificate from Santa confirming their place on the Nice List.

Website & Email Design

The webpage generating up to 5k more traffic per month for the site during the campaign with a decrease of 20% in bounce rate.

The email campaign generated a 90% – 76% open rate with link click up to 21% per email.


We had a huge positive response from the local media, publishing stories about the Christmas experience across their websites and social platforms.
